Literature Text

You are pretty down to your bones
and those secrets hidden in our childish lips
it's gold
and it's glowing with all the life
you have left

Where the current and the heavens collide,
the city is burning, but
I swore I could feel you
breathe

After every fight we always wonder
what we're fighting for,
but my hands will wait
for a taste
of your
skin

You've got a cold kiss,

But you are the gazer,
you are the attraction, so
you will see your beauty
every moment that you rise
when I'll set you up against
the stars

Very impressive piece! The lines you chose are very powerful. I think my favorite string is "My hands will wait / for a taste / of your / skin" due to the imagery. I know I've felt the ache in a protesting hand before. That powerful desire for skin-to-skin contact that you just can't always get. :)

Anyway, just stopped in to say excellent work! Cheers!
